The public is invited to the Houston Club's ninth annual Best of Texas Wine Awards and Tasting, 5:30-7:30 p.m. Oct. 7 at the Houston Club, 811 Rusk. Wines from 20 of Texas' 26 bonded wineries have been entered this year, according to Bernard van Mourik, general manager of the Houston Club.
